Paul Okner - Principal
After several years spent working for various firms in New York City and Seattle, I founded Fremont Law PLLC with the purpose of providing individuals, startups, businesses, and non-profit clients with personalized and cost-effective transactional legal services. Drawing on my own experiences as a real estate developer and business owner, I look carefully at the overall needs of my clients, and I take pride in providing counsel that is at once tailored and yet harmonious with clients’ broader goals and values.
My approach to business is collaborative rather than adversarial, and I act on the belief that proper planning and preparation are instrumental in substantially reducing future disputes. My practice is nimble and nearly paperless: low overhead results in savings that are passed along to clients.
I graduated from Vanderbilt University and Boston College Law School, and am admitted to practice in Washington, Oregon, and Idaho. In addition to serving great clients, I develop and manage various commercial real estate projects throughout the Puget Sound area, sit on the board of the Mark Torrance Foundation, served as a member (and co-chair) of the Washington State Bar Association Pro Bono and Public Service Committee, and regularly volunteer as an attorney for the Housing Justice Project and Communities Rise (formerly Wayfind) in Seattle.
